Who we are
FitClo is a trading name of Jake Rowland, a sole trader in England. We are based in Derby, UK; our postal address is available on request. Contact us at hello@fitclo.co.uk. We are responsible for the personal information described here (the "controller").
What we collect
If you ask about a shop: your name, email, organisation and message.
If you are on a client's team: your name, email and/or phone number, your role, a scrambled copy of your password, and when you sign in.
If you buy from a shop: your name, email, phone number if given, delivery address if you choose delivery, and what you ordered. Card payments are made directly to Stripe; we never see or store card details.
If you order through a group order: your name, email, phone number if asked, and what you ordered.
Logos and artwork that clients upload, and the details of any payout account (Stripe holds the ID and bank details; we only see whether it is set up).
Why we use it, and our legal basis
To make, deliver and support orders and run your account (to perform our contract with you).
To keep order and payment records for tax and accounting (a legal obligation).
To reply to enquiries, keep accounts secure and understand how clients use FitClo, for example noting when a client's team signs in (our legitimate interests in running and improving the service).
To send marketing, only if you have asked for it (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who sees it
The kit maker for your shop, to make your order: Zone 2 Apparel (hello@z2apparel.co.uk) or Custom Clothing Derby (hello@customclothingderby.co.uk), both run by us.
For group orders, the organisers at the club or organisation running it, so they can check the order and collect payment.
Stripe, which processes card payments and payout accounts. Netlify, which hosts the website and stores our data. Our email provider, which sends order emails. They act on our instructions.
We never sell your information. Some of these providers store data in the US; where they do, it is protected by the UK's approved safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
Orders and payment records: six years, as tax law requires. Enquiries that do not lead to an account: up to two years. Team accounts: while the client's account is open, then up to a year.
Cookies
We only use cookies and browser storage the site needs to work: keeping your basket, keeping you signed in, and remembering your light or dark setting. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
